Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

The Economist promotion
The Economist promotion is still (again?) up - 18k points for a year of paper+digital sub.

If you change the country from Finland to the UK you can have a substantial saving on the sub price - but the paper will obviously be delivered to the UK. You can change the delivery address later for free, though.
A word of warning - I subscribed in August, it took a long fight (many emails and 4 months) to get the points finally credited.
I don't know if this is a good deal for just the points, but I consider it as two free upgrades thrown in to my subscription
