Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Yes, you don't need the second factor. AFAIK, logging in just prefills your name (but not your seat) when connecting to the Internet, and shows your account balances.

Per the AY marketing email I received, it seems that Finavia parking at Helsinki Airport now earns 5 points per euro spent, provided the parking has been reserved in advance.

I do wonder if this means the end of LGG parking in the drop-off zone while having a beer with friends between flights.

Does anyone can point me to the lowest J fares ex Europe to BKK for mid Nov. to mid Dec. - is TLL still the place? Looking for fares below 1800€.

If you're flexible with dates and more in the south, MXP is around 1700.

There's this promotion of getting extra ay+ points by using Pointshound. Have you found pointshound useful? I've done some bookings and occasionally it's possible to find decent deals. Most of the time however the hotels are more expensive, so you pay quite a lot for your points.

In general I have not found it as worth the effort to check if I compare it against the Expedia price minus a 12% cashback rate.

ls Expedia offering 12% cashback ? Is it real money back to CC (like in Booking.com) or some kind of credit ?

I use a cashback site and the 12% is a frequent offer and paid to my account.

Always worth checking Pointshound. Sometimes you might be lucky and find great deals. However, most of time they haven't any interesting.
