Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Do not delete historical posts.

Not yet. My stay was 20/Jan and I read the FAQ as

"When do points post?

Points earned through PointsHound.com will not post to your account until after you complete the hotel stay. Posting times vary by program but are typically 2-6 weeks from completion of your hotel reservation."

So technically there's still time. However it's been 2 weeks or so that it's been "submitted" and should post "within a week"

I'm glad to see that I am not the only one waiting for the miles to post

I actually sent e-mail there yesterday and asked about my missing points from my trip in early January. Got reply: "Due to some technical issues, we are experiencing a delay in posting the miles to our members accounts. We are working very hard with Finnair Plus to resolve this issue. As soon as the matter is resolved, the bonus miles will appear in your account. "

Thanks everyone! Not that surprised that AY has IT problems Let's hope it gets settled soon. I am actually planning to use Pointshound.com at least occasionally, but I want to see this first transaction work out alright before I use them again.

I regularly visit a few FT fora. It seems that all of them has a dedicated thread to IT failures. Many people seem convinced "their" system is the worst...

Agreed. The simple fact is that, once they have your money, they'll give you your points/miles in their own time!

Iberia Plus Store is a perfect example of this. Also Tesco Clubcard, Virgin Shops Away, Etihad Guest, Topcashback's merchants...

When I checked in to my hotel (reserved and paid by Pointshound) the manager looked at his computer and said: "Oh yes, it seems you have already paid via Expedia". Interesting.

PH might as well be another outfit of expedia. There are surprisingly many brands of Expedia - travelocity, hotels.com, trivago, etc, etc. Or just a reseller.

I was thinking the same thing that perhaps PH just buys the tooms through expedia...?

I was suprised awhile ago when booking a rare room from hotels.com there was a issue the email regarding the issue came from expedia help desk

They use at least couple of wholesalers for their rooms. One room (my support for the hotel industry in Bali ) was apparently through Expedia judging that Expedia was the only OTA selling the hotel online and another room (Doubletree by Hilton in US where I actually went) was through Tourico Holidays, FL, USA (it was mentioned in the papers you sign during check-in for not smoking in the room etc.)
