Originally she was given 8 to 10 months to live, She has now lived over 4.5 years since her diagnosis with a genetic derived chemotherapy (oral pill), a good diet, and lots of prayers and religious support.
So no loss of words is necessary

I have a sensitivity to bell pepper so none for me but it's Mr. CE's favorite pizza. Though he's still looking for a favorite spot to deliver it in Rogers Park. We've tried JP Alberto's a couple times and struck out. We love Union but they don't deliver and R Public House is now only doing pizza Thursday-Sunday. So suggestions are welcome.

Rice only costs about a buck for Chinese take out...I don't get why you would even consider making it. It sounds silly.
You buy sandwiches when you can just buy the ingredients and make them at home plus other take out. For some reason you seem to think that the only reason to go to a restaurant is because you can't make the food at home. You would be cooking for hours & need tons of ingredients if you tried to make 4 different Chinese dishes at home.

the Chinese carryout was me leaving home, fetching it, and returning home. I really could have made the rice, which was $3.50 for 2 portions plus tax and tip. That would have paid for 20 grams of gummies.

I'm cooking chicken cassoulet for dinner tonight. I'm not incredibly hungry yet, but I'm figuring that by the time it is ready, I'll be hungry.

actually I bought the sandwiches because theyre tied to the play date. My family only did the play date because of the sandwiches. None of us really wanted to be there and we were excitedly aware of the sandwiches.

So you aren't forced into such an extravagance again, maybe you can make & freeze rice in individual portions sizes some day ahead of this happening again. I keep rice in my freezer (and I would still get the rice from the takeout).

Well I hope that you can still afford your gummies after splurging on rice for $3.50.

Post-play date grilled hot dogs with Doritos cool ranch
wild snow crab claws with toppings
Sauteed Argentinian red shrimp
raw radishes
leftover Mexican rice and leftover fish tacos
bowl of blueberries with Puffins and Kashi heart shaped cereal
I still crave more dessert. I’ll probably get a Melona bar.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll share with Me. CE. We have very different views on pizza (I'm a Spacca Napoli fan, or Anton's closer to home), and he prefers tavern style. (If it is cut in squares or if I can't fold my face in half, I don't want to touch it.) Tedino's suffers the same issue as JP Alberto's in my mind... There's nothing else on the menu that I'd want to eat
But he can order one day when I have something else to eat at home.

I like Spacca Napoli too. Just depends on what I'm in the mood for. I don't think one should discriminate against any style of pizza
. But I probably side with Mr. CE more often since I try to avoid large amounts of bread. Tying in to "what's for dinner", last night I made a thin crust pizza with a fresh crushed tomato sauce - soppressata, red onion, mushroom, banana pepper & salad with a French vinaigrette. Tonight is flank steak and some kind of vegetable.

The plan is to make chicken meatballs and serve with sauce over spiralized zucchini. Success hinges on going to the grocery store for zucchini and Parmesan.
