Well I hope that you can still afford your gummies after splurging on rice for $3.50.
So you aren't forced into such an extravagance again, maybe you can make & freeze rice in individual portions sizes some day ahead of this happening again. I keep rice in my freezer (and I would still get the rice from the takeout).
