She also recommends Burhop's at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette; they are doing curbside pick up.
Good to know. We used to pass by Burhop's all the time. It's still only about 15 mins away, might have to check it out.

Agreed, most of us probably have all the different herbs and spices in our kitchen already. I've invented my own secret (because I don't measure ) mix that works great for chicken or beef tacos, and it's actually the same mix I use to make my chili (which is much closer to the traditional than the typical tomato soup style we usually see). Last night I used it for veggie tacos. Granted, there was maybe a 1/4 cup of chicken broth in it as well, but my wife said she would swear it wasn't all vegetables. Anyway, if you start with chili powder and cumin and go from there, it's kind of hard to go too wrong.

That looks yummy!

Dinner tonight will probably be a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and fries at a local brewpub.

Eaten off of lap trays at my street concert:
Prosciutto and melon with balsamic glaze
Entertainer veggie crackers with Creamy Dill cheese from Costco (my new obsession)
Some kind of veggie latkes from trader joe...with sauce.
Homemade chocolate chip cookies.
A lovely Napa Chardonnay that was 1/2 price at Costco..I need to go back and scoop up more.

Two things, what kind of bread is under the burger? It looks like either a half bagel or English Muffin. Secondly and to actually start a debate here, why put the cheese under the burger? I prefer mine (rarely put cheese-only swiss w/ mushrooms) on top so if I decide to stop eating the bun, I don't lose the cheese.

I put cheese on both top of burger (on the grill - handful of seconds, then turn off grill and let it melt another minute) and on the top and bottom of the bunny bun which is warmed in the toaster oven. I was inspired by the Quarter Pounder with Cheese style albeit without any other condiments.
