These are similar to Indonesia perkedels, except for no smilie faces. They even sell them at KFC here. No corn on the cob or chicken pot pies, but great spicy fried chicken.

You can break a donut down to quarters? lol--not me! I am not sure I could even save a half for later. None of those are on my donut list though. Glazed buttermilk is my go to. omg--I want one right now.

my quesabirria-style taco luncheon was quite big - primarily the carrot / potato part as there was only 1 short rib.

I hope you didn't go to all the trouble of making that birria sauce (which I imagine freezes well so make double next time) for just one short rib.
donuts make great bread pudding. you can even throw the leftovers in the freezer and save them up until you have enough.
you made both turkey burgers and beef burgers?? Why?
And congrats on having some veggies.

On the beach tonight, so red wine, sausages, hot soup, crudites and melon. Rather than ketchup, we're going with a Tom Kine tomato based sauce.

The birria (because obviously its my way and not like a real mexican restaurant style) was used for total 4 short ribs (1-1/2 lbs??) and then eaten over a period of days.
thanks for donut tip. Maybe Ill try it... I could (literally?) squeeze them into the freezer.
as we all know, turkey burgers are less unhealthy than beef burgers :-)

Yes, depending on whether turkey breast or dark meat is used there can be less fat than beef. Will your kid not eat a turkey burger? Would he know the difference once you put all of that cheese on it?

I assume ground turkey is more dark than light but its still better (healthier) than both chicken and cow.
we all know the taste difference between turkey and cow meat, even with bunny bun and cheese. Im not putting lipstick on a pig. Only a sight-challenged person without taste buds wouldnt know the difference.
