I prefer Safeway organic crunchy peanut butter more at $6.99 for a big jar compared to this peanut-pecan but Im glad to have bought it. The chocolate almond butter is nice and not replicated elsewhere.
Ill try the Fiji ginger almond butter in the future. Ive already loved the coconut one.
one day Ill just buy Costco almond butter to compare :-)

there are too many peanut butter skus with sugar, Palm, or other weird ingredients; sometimes its because of no stir or no refrigeration
also in USA I dont recall Kraft having a peanut butter; JM Smuckers (formerly P&G) have most of the shelf space besides private label. I dont even know if Unilever / Nestle carry a peanut butter. Also I didnt know that peanut butter was popular in Australia.

I am shocked that you don't buy your peanut butter at Costco. 2 huge jars of Skippy super chunk shrink wrapped together. I can't remember the price but it is often on sale and I am sure the 2 jars sell for what you are paying for one jar of store brand. Not organic but I don't care.

No Adams (Smucker brand) where you are? You can even get it in a nothing-added version.
Because it's addictive and (excessive) sweet(ness) is, apparently, what the North American (primarily U.S.) market appears to crave.
Re: the Adam's PB, I guess Smucker gets you with the grape jelly.
It's the reason I don't buy them...not only is it too sweet but why should there be sugar in peanut butter?

If its Kraft 100% peanuts plus salt, then sure Ill agree. I dont want any of the peanut butters unless its 100% peanut & salt. Plus crunchy.

No PB but finishing the second and last round of supposedly black angus burgers tonight.
Have some skin-on side pork that I will try to make lard rti for lunch tomorrow (would have been for dinner but a friend is visiting). Bought a lot of marked-down side pork in the past week and 2 slabs/2 Kg are salting right in step 1 of being turned into pancetta.

The only annoying thing about it is the need to stir. I always seem to make a mess.

Adams is/was WA-based so might be a regional label.. Probably the same product as the Smucker with a different label/container.

cacio e Pepe with fresh spaghetti
baked potatoes - one with cheese mix; one with butter
assd raw vegetables
bagel with cream cheese
Im not buying non-organic peanut butter unless its mega small batch. I keep hoping to see an organic crunchy peanut butter at Costco.
Yes! This is it.
this is where I do study ingredients. Some majors have only 100% peanuts with salt as ingredients.
I love stirring! Its fun. Adams is a staple at major supermarkets.
anyway I do enjoy peanut butter toast for supper.
