He's 64. He said that he's saved his whole life and now wants to just buy what makes him happy. So short answer: Yes? Haha

We had a good lunch though. Shrimp fajitas for him, chimichanga for me. Price with two sodas: $22. Can't beat that with a stick!

I thought 911 was what you lot dialed if you needed help urgently. Now you tell me it's what you buy when you need help urgently.

Either one gets you a response! When he dropped me off my Criminal Law professor and three classmates were outside. One literally stared openmouthed at the car.

Anyway, back on topic, going here for lunch today: http://elmosdiner.com/

I made, for the first time, Madeleines today. It was all I could do to avoid eating all of them in one sitting.

Was driving past Ikea in Sunrise and remembered I needed a floor lamp. Hit the restaurant for the meatball plate, with tomato soup and Diet Pepsi:

Elmo's is my favorite brunch place in Durham (and my parents too for that matter)

What's the new Mexican restaurant? I'm moving back down to the area in July - gotta start learning about all the new Durham restaurants since I last lived there

It's on Hillsborough Road and LaSalle Street across the road from the Kroger. Nothing too special, but a good quick lunch spot with lots of specials. PM me when you get in, we'll grab drinks.

Doing a little afternoon studying (and maybe a touch of the FT) at Mad Hatter's Cafe and bakeshop right now. Chai Latte and a Snickerdoodlde make even the worst homework bearable.
