To be completely honest they were very poor. It was the first day we had been able to get out for a walk for a long time so I put the ribs into the oven on low, and out we went, but because I hadn't sealed them properly they dried and then caught. Binned. Normally they are perfect, but I bu#%ered them this time.

Went to Tony Roma's yesterday on the Costco $79.99 deal for a $100 certificate. I stocked up and bought $500 worth.

Had a nice Rib Eye, and chose sauted mushrooms, and sweet potato fries as sides. Bought the starter salad, and hot green tea for beverage. For dessert, ordered the cheesecake, cookie a la mode, and apple tart a la mode. For middle of the road, it was great value.^

Ramen noodles.

But I'm currently nibbling on a chocolate bar with nutmeg from the Agapey Chocolate Factory in Barbados. I need to go back and replenish my supply, particularly of their caramel rum bars.

Tonight we made a recipe I clipped from the TK inflight magazine - "quail with pomegranate molasses, rosemary, thyme, and garlic". Couldn't get quail so we substituted Cornish hens. Wow - really nice. Picked up the pomegranate molasses in Turkey, can't seem to find it here. Turned out great
