I took my wife first time in years to Earls for lunch today. A brand new restaurant opened on 130 Avenue SE in Calgary. She's been wanting to go, but I haven't really considered going until this brand new Earls popped up at the local commercial centre.
Sadly to report, my wife was dissappointed with the menu. She liked the atmosphere but prefers other restaurants. It was a nice personal lunch out with her.

It was delicious! I felt guilty though because my friends had Po' Boys (sandwiches) and I sat there long after they had finished peeling shrimp after shrimp.
In the jar is Diet Coke (it's a southern thing to have drinks in Mason jars) and the pots are Cole Slaw. I may have asked "who doesn't want their Cole Slaw?" and eaten three servings

Going to try a new buffet at Ric's Grill.
Looks like Ric's Grill is a chain. Anyone try their lunch buffet before? Its a steak restaurant, so the sign labelling lunch buffet $15.95 driving down the street perked my interest. Plus if I like it, I can purchase $100 certificates from Costco for $79.99.
