Breakfast buffet at the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown:
- Yogurt, fruit, croissant, cereal
- Biscuit and gravy, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes

Then a few hours later for lunch:
- Homemade gumbo with chicken, sausage, shrimp and crab legs (the crab legs were amazing), cornbread and some ham. I also tried my first ever chitlins and that was utterly disgusting.

Bleedin' 'orrible day today on TV. Who thought it acceptable to get the sainted Julie Andrews to sing "Up on a Hill was a Lonely Goat Turd ..."

Supper@Hampshire

Foremans London Cure smoke salmon and Parma ham with Hovis cut the posh way - on the bias - with a bottle of Breddon champers.

Featuring the famous serviette dispenser.

Chicken came courtesy of my aunt and uncle who raise chickens.

Not a hot dog fan, but did have a fantastic Chili and Cheese dog at AMC theatre downtown Disney yesterday night. Had a 14 ounce Rib Eye at Sizzlers along with their salad bar for lunch.

Did something I haven't done since probably my Freshman year in college. I was up early to take my parents to the airport and I had a craving for McDonalds hotcakes. So I swung by McDonalds for breakfast, came back home and ate them watching a Law & Order rerun. Nice treat it was.

An early dinner in a very hot Buenos Aires Province. A few steaks cooked on the parrilla.

The last of my shrimp fajitas I made a couple days ago. I experimented this time with using cucumbers instead of peppers and I liked the result.

Simply a professional picture with perfect colors!! Mmm I'm salivating.

Had the worst ribeye ever yesterday. Not enough marbling and tasted NY.

Very nice .... my only question is why does the "lines" on the steaks not match the lines on the grill ......

Trust you to notice that.
I was using a picnic grill rather than the proper large one which you can see in the picture....no need to use the big one for such a small amount of meat. The picnic one has a stainless steel coating on the bars which doesn't heat up the same as the normal one. Hence the meat doesn't get the charred lines so desired by amateur BBQ'ers.

Thanks...they tasted pretty good.

Even here you can get some dodgy steaks now and again.
