Today .... I (we) have been eating ....

Very decadent meal at Chapter One, Malta (not affiliated with Chapter One, Dublin-the far superior of the two). Seafood carpaccio, veal steaks, dessert, various wines. I am stuffed and wondering why I do this to myself.

Ric's Grill lunch buffet at Barlow Trail SE Calgary wasn't too overly elaborate. The lunch bill was affordable, the server was nice, only charged me for the buffet and not the green tee. A very simple buffet, with a couple of main dishes, couple of sides, pasta and rice. One dessert selection.

All in all pretty good, if not looking for selection but a quick meal. The entrees were satisfying.

Talking about grills ..... this arrived today .... I have been looking for a small Cypriot grill that just does satay and souvlaki for years - I already have a spit roast - and this is absolutely perfect.

Cannot wait for summer ....

Bufalo mozzarella pizza in Sicily. Not up to Naples standards, but not bad

For a birthday celebration of another seafood lover: A dozen oysters followed by a large seafood platter, washed down with three different Chablis Premier Crus.

It does bear a striking resemblance to table footy. Do post a pic when it's 'game on'.
