I smell a rat! Are you sure you cooked that steak ....

Admit it ... you "dial-a-steak"ed.

A common practice here is to have BBQ delivered to your door. As it ain't cheap and with me being a Scot even under extreme weather conditions I prefer to cook my own and spend the money saved on cold beer.

Tonight I gave the family ribeye steak with fried onion, boulangere potatoes, steamed spinach, petit pois and a red wine gravy.

My eldest son declared it " mint " which apparently means it was good. Normally I just get a grunt of approval !

Sassafraz in Toronto last night. Great food (I had the Cornish Hen) and great atmosphere! Definitely recommend it if you're visiting TO.

Stopped by a Rudino's Pizza and Grinders that's been by my house but I had no idea until recently. Had a chicken parm hero, fries and a Bud Light (on special at $1.50...less than a soda!) for lunch. Tasty stuff ^

A friend of mine had a big office potluck today and she made way too much food. I'm the proud owner of an entire TRAY of baked ziti and eight pieces of garlic bread.

Guess my lunches and dinners for the rest of the week just sorted themselves out
