Trust you to notice that.
I was using a picnic grill rather than the proper large one which you can see in the picture....no need to use the big one for such a small amount of meat. The picnic one has a stainless steel coating on the bars which doesn't heat up the same as the normal one. Hence the meat doesn't get the charred lines so desired by amateur BBQ'ers.

Admit it ... you "dial-a-steak"ed.

Tonight I gave the family ribeye steak with fried onion, boulangere potatoes, steamed spinach, petit pois and a red wine gravy.
My eldest son declared it " mint " which apparently means it was good. Normally I just get a grunt of approval !

Sassafraz in Toronto last night. Great food (I had the Cornish Hen) and great atmosphere! Definitely recommend it if you're visiting TO.

Okay, five days late, but this is the first thing I thought of when I saw that pic.

Stopped by a Rudino's Pizza and Grinders that's been by my house but I had no idea until recently. Had a chicken parm hero, fries and a Bud Light (on special at $1.50...less than a soda!) for lunch. Tasty stuff ^

-"Mozza Burger" with spicy fries and a root beer at A&W; extremely rare that I get fast food, so much so that I've never eaten at an A&W before. I still don't know what was on the burger, besides a bacon (?) chip
-Carrot, orange and strawberry juice
-another disappointing onde-onde
-karedok
-Dragon fruit
-chocolate muffin

A friend of mine had a big office potluck today and she made way too much food. I'm the proud owner of an entire TRAY of baked ziti and eight pieces of garlic bread.
Guess my lunches and dinners for the rest of the week just sorted themselves out
