Went to Whole Foods for dinner

Baked chicken with mustard glaze on the skin, mac and cheese, carrots and broccoli and a cup of coffee. Cost me $12 but quite good.

Whole Foods is now my "go-to" choice during work travel. Much healthier then sitting down for a heavy dinner every night.

A slice of pizza...some salad from the salad bar....maybe sometimes a sandwich. Many choices and all tasty.

Indeed! And in my case, I bring my homework and my laptop and because they don't have wifi I'm forced to do work instead of FT

Meanwhile, going to Vine Sushi & Thai for lunch for the ole lunch special.

Got bit tonight in Cairo on one of those meals that just sounds great- date salad with Gorgonzola, apples and olives, then grilled scallops and prawns with a tomato onion sauce. Everything was just plain awful and it was topped off with an obnoxiously bad Egyptian wine. I can still taste the seafood after brushing and mouthwash. Yuck

You were a brave man eating scallops and prawns in Cairo.

I await to hear of further consequences given my experience there.

Can't be much worse than their usual food-handling methods.

I ate so much ful on the street, and every time the vendor used the same (un-gloved) hand to make the sandwich, take money and smoke cigarettes.

No ill effects I'm happy to report. Would have been wildly ironic though considering what I'm doing here is related

As this trip was free ie free BA tickets and hotel on points upgraded to suite etc I took her to the Swisshouse in Vienna again today and bought her a lovely lunch of schniztel and assorted sausages ie a few Bratwurst, Weisse saussies and a couple of Franks ... as usual I forgot to take the picture until we'd almost finished ... but also caught a couple of pictures of the kitchen which hints a little about how much Stelze they sell ..... this place is wonderful. Then apple strudel, nut scnapps and a cigar for me ... followed by th tram back.

My first visit ever to Dan-D Donuts in Panama City, FL will be the first of many. I had a blueberry filled donut that must have weighed a pound. Took it to the downtown marina, sat on a bench and watched a loon diving, a cargo ship leaving port and the airplane hauling the Trojan banner over the Spring Break crowd on the other side of the bay.
