Reading today's revelations about PM David Cameron's student days very nearly put me off my bacon bap this morning.
I needed extra HP sauce to help it go down.Talk about being as happy as a pig in a poke ! ^

Texas toast is currently in the oven. Going to pair that with a few hotdogs and milk.

Cereal
Homemade smoothie--strawberries, blueberries, mango, a little pomegranate and tangerine juices (perfect for the 90+F weather)
Spaghetti with pesto, kale and avocado salad dressed with lemon juice and olive oil

Light on the protein, but there's always tomorrow

Meal: Lunch

Chicken pie and mash potato and a bottle of champers because I was a bit sharp with her earlier and I feel guilty.

What has everyone else been eating today ... and where?

I went Old Skool today in celebration of the very first post in this thread.
It started out as a bit of a giggle because of course we all miss the old feller and his obsessions about food.
But I made a chicken pie, with chorizo, leek and industrial quantities of garlic.
With a spicy,garlic mash.
And a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Bloody marvellous.

I heard through the grapevine (an unnamed mod, actually in a PM) that he was banned permanently. Really made me a bit bummed. His contributions were always so great on this thread. IDK what happened beyond that.

That's sad, I learned a lot from him and will definitely miss his contributions.
