We're in the Caribbean, so had a Quebec (?) ham with some salads and potatoes dauphinoises. The day before we were at a reception of some grand old American families and so had the Southern classics of turkey, bean casserole and the like.
It's now morning, so onto the leftovers... |

It's now morning, so onto the leftovers... I do so love a female Atlanta accent .... I yearn to hear the invitation "Meet me on Peachtree ..." Your lunch sounds magical, let it not be "Gone with the Wind" .... :) |

Breakfast at the Hilton Managua in the Exec Lounge, pretty basic stuff
Lunch at a cafe in Granada, Nicaragua called Cafe Sonrisas. All the staff are deaf and it's a not for profit used to help fund a school for the deaf. I had a burrito with rice, beans and beef with cabbage on the side and pineapple water. Pretty decent stuff and nice to help out a good cause. |
Despite the 33c heat......for lunch I have just finished some lovely toasted cheese with white onion accompanied with some of my wife's wonderful aubergine and garlic pickle. A cold Schneider beer was also enjoyed.
