Snowed in at home menu:
A traditional but slightly southernized Moroccan chicken tagine with preserved lemon, sweet potatoes, collard greens and a healthy dose of chili, simmered on low heat for 3 hours until the chicken is very tender - yummy!

Dessert is sticky rice with fresh mangos and roasted pineapple, drizzled with coconut cream and sprinkled with toasted coconut and sesame seeds.

Well it sounded nice to me although I must admit I'd probably use bay leaf in a stew instead of the rosemary. Despite having a very vigorous rosemary plant in the garden I can't bring myself to use it in anything as it seems a bit overpowering.

I did put 2 bayleaves in the slow cooker. They're an essential ingredient!

Lunch at Vine Sushi in Durham:

- Baby Octopus Salad
- Golden Spider Roll: Soft shell crab, eel, avocado & cucumber,Red caviar in yellow soy paper, eel sauce.

Then a cookie from the Mad Hatter Bakery. It was an iced cookie that looked like a corset. Very cute.

That sounds delicious (all of it)!

We are still snowed in here so no going out for sushi.
My husband and I really love sushi. It's the only kind of food we eat in restaurants a lot but would never attempt to duplicate at home.
