Quite a sauce...what did you opine?

The nanny of a student I was tutoring in Shenzhen, China was a good cook. The student's mother asked me what two of my favorite foods were, and I blurted out eggplant and peanut butter. Sure enough, the nanny prepared that combo, and I dug it.

Haha, good story! The meatballs are pretty good and the sauce combo might be strange but it's really delicious. Even my lunchmates today that I shared food with seemed to like it and they're pretty picky.

Oh hey, send my regards to their breakfast buffet. Not nearly as good as IC Bangkok, but still nice and overflowing with fresh papaya and pineapple.

Yes .... I love the IC but don't like the enancements to the nut bowl. And the afternoon tea finger sandwiches all have different labels but no filling. They are bread sandwiches.

Cinnamon toast and coffee and a chocolate Tootsie Pop (don't judge me!). But I'm heading out for a Thai lunch in a minute.

Red Lobster tonite. I had the 4 course meal deal. Pork chop, clam chowder, salad, and key lime pie (which I gave to my wife, and had an ice cream sundae instead).

My wife had the seafood platter, with lobster, scallops and a skewer of shrimp.

My 4 year old son ate all of his popcorn shrimp. My 8 year old sun had the chicken breast and a caesar salad.

I have not, but thanks for the heads-up.

Have you tried pizza in Naples? I haven't checked that off yet either!

Ugh.. I try and avoid Chinese buffets nowadays, but today I did allow the sin..

Trying to lose weight, and carb heavy, deep fried is not the place to go.

Well, Happy Chinese New Year.. I got my Chinese meal in.:)
