Depends why you avoid pasta in the first place.

If you are just looking to avoid carbs then gluten free pasta is usually as bad (or worse) than regular pasta. They just replace the wheat with a different form of starch.

Thai Peppercorn Bliss with Beef at Chaang Thai in Morgantown, WV

Followed by McDonalds brought on the plane with me at BWI.

That does look good .... :)

Is it a sort of red Thai curry .... and do I see some fresh green peppercorns?

I not that you didn't take the house wine offer ......

It was very similar to red curry but without bamboo which I'm okay with. And yes, no wine, it was 11:30 AM and we still had 211 miles to drive that day and I didn't want to be drowsy.

Meanwhile this morning is back to my usual: coffee and Pop Tarts. Stupid school.

I hate waking up when your stomach says "yeah, I think I'm going to be irritable today" so just applesauce and a Kings Hawaiian Roll for breakfast.

Going here for dinner though so I need to get healthy!: http://www.revolutionrestaurant.com/

Unbeatable.

Chanced upon my local supermarket as they were clearing a shelf of packets of 4 lamb chops for €7 because no-one was buying them.
Did a deal with the butcher to take 12 chops for €7.
Baked with a garlic powder and rosemary crust, some garlic and colcannon mash and a sauteed kale and cauliflower veggie mix they were stonking.
Gravy was an interesting mix of blitzed leftover peppers and onions, oyster sauce and a spoon of Vegemite.Sublime.
Fresh fruit salad and vanilla ice-cream for dessert.
It's a simple game when you think about it.

Meatballs, so many meatballs. A friend of mine cooked me some with a sauce she made out of grape jelly and chili sauce. So I had meatballs with yellow rice for lunch and a meatball sub for dinner.

Quite a sauce...what did you opine?

The nanny of a student I was tutoring in Shenzhen, China was a good cook. The student's mother asked me what two of my favorite foods were, and I blurted out eggplant and peanut butter. Sure enough, the nanny prepared that combo, and I dug it.
