Thai for lunch at this food kiosk Eau Claire Market downtown Calgary. Massa man curry, spicy sea food, both on rice, half my plate shrimp pad Thai. Bottle of coconut juice. A great meal! The plate of food was $9.95.

Looks swaadisht (tasty, in Hindi).

Dollar slice pizza places have been popping up all over Manhattan. Just quick, copacetic fixes that go for as low as US $1 a slice. A few of them briefly sold for US $.75.

Looks like a good wholesome meal. I had Butter Chicken, and Vietnamese food yesterday. I think I'm into a swiss mushroom burger with the local neighborhood restaurant today.. The second best burger I've ever had flame broiled, and I always have a salad with citrus vinegrette on the side.

lunch:
Soupy-stew made from leftover oxtail bourginon, leftover mashed potatoes and leftover sirloin tips au poivre. Homemade croutons.

Looking at a pair of fresh pork trotters and wondering what to do with them for either tonight's supper or next week's supper.

Went to an Italian bistro for lunch today (Toast, in Downtown Durham) and had a panini with pork loin and provolone. So good.

How would you feel about roast pork au jus, provolone and broccoli rabe?

There's a good place in Philly, DiNic's, where I first had it. If you're ever in (that) town, it's in the Reading Terminal Market.

Mix of Manhattan and Brooklyn

-"Somersaults" Cinnamon Crunch - a sunflower seed snack
-Khachapuri Adjaruli and Shaslik (a kebab) at TONÉ-CAFÉ, a Georgian place in Brighton Beach
-Arizona Iced Tea with Honey and "Ginseng"
-Raisin Bran Crunch

Hmm, I should really look into other things to eat. You know, vegetables, fruits, healthy things.

I know exactly what you're talking about because fellow Flyertalk Jackal and I went there for lunch back in May. It was absolutely excellent ^

Red Lobster tonight with the family.

I had the Harbourside Rock Lobster dish, accompanied with 2 types of shrimp. Had lobster bisque, and a nice cookie ala mode to finish it off. Popcorn shrimp and Mac and Cheese for the kids.

Our family loves Red Lobster. I probably go once every two weeks.

Supper overlooking Torbay .....

Crispy duck and pancakes with my choice ... ie not this spring onion and cucumber palaver .. but pancakes, with plum sauce mixed with a sweet chilli sauce, red peppers, red onion and pointed cabbage and all shredded. Spring rolls. Freezing Fino.

I remain eternally non-compliant to tradition.

:)

Mmmmm.. Your description reminds me of Peking Duck wrapped in pancakes, hoisin sauce and cucumbers. The local Chinese restaurant will serve it lettuce wrap with a duck filler. Very delicious and healthy the latter.

Had Prime Rib, salad and veggies tonight.^
