Nice view :)
Had the most disappointing afternoon tea at the Fairmont Battery Wharf in Boston. Dried out sandwiches, partly separated Devonshire cream in a dirty room with little air ventilation. :td: Even with the Living Social deal it wasn't worth it. :( |
Went to the Beyu Caffe (actual spelling) today in Durham for lunch. They're a coffee bar/actual bar/cafe with a Creole style menu. I had drunken shrimp in butter sauce with rice and garlic bread then a peanut butter mocha (yes, really) to go. All very good, I'll definitely be back.

Great dinner at St. John's tonight. Starter was cold veal with anchovy and chicory. Main was roast Middlewhite pork with rape and mustard greens. Desert was chocolate cake and creme friache. Goodness. |
In-N-Out this afternoon just after arriving at SFO. Had a Double-Double, fries, and a
Neapolitan shake. Nothin fancy but gets the job done for me :). |
Ahh good to see one of my favorite threads back again!
Nothing fancy for me today: - Hampton Inn Breakfast: Granola and yogurt, then scrambled eggs with cheese, French Toast Sticks and bacon - Biscoff on the flight home |
Given my hopefully temporary status 'in the doghouse', dinner last night was Taco Bell. A crunchwrap, chalupa and 2 doritos locos tacos. My first time at Taco Bell in probably 15 years...and in all likelihood, it will be at least another 15 years before I go back. Bland, tasteless crap :td:
For the $12+ I paid, I could have had so much better at the local taqueria  |
I am on a fruit bender: 2 apricots, 2 nectarines, 3 clementines, a pear and a navel orange.

Had a nice breakfast of a salad with lox. Now that summer is nearing more salads all around, including breakfast.
|
Ham, egg and swiss flatbread with spinach, red onion, green pepper and a bit of mayo together with a small cup of Keurig coffee. $3 at the local Subway.

Lunch was a couple vegan protein shakes. Dinner a small bowl if gazpacho and a salad with some sliced meat in it, oil and vinegar dressing. |
Breakfast was a couple croissants and a bowl of oatmeal at the Hilton Miami Downtown

I've really gotten into nova lox for breakfast. Either with a salad or as today with scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes.
Lunch today was a salad and a bit of sushi. Not sure about dinner yet. |
