A breakfast combo of two old favourites this morning.
Vegemite AND peanut butter on honey and spelt toast.

Not bad at all.

Went to Philippe The Original in Los Angeles for dinner. Had one of their
French Dipped Sandwiches with turkey and cheese :).

Good choice! I like the lamb one myself.

Coffee, chocolate, cigar, brandy. Looks very civilized to me. Didn't bother with a pic tonight but knocked up pasta with pesto, peas and porcini. Washed down with a Campo Viego. Can't moan, it was very agreeable.

UK, haven't you finished the box of chocolates? :confused:

Sorry,old bean,but you really ARE letting the side down by not using a proper wine glass even while trying to hide the handle of the mug.
Perhaps you ought to consign it to the same cupboard as the commercial napkin holder which hasn't been seen for a while.
I can't believe a classy lady like Mrs uk1 is happy drinking her Tempranillo out of a tea mug.

Very nice sirloin slices on the grill, pommes dauphinoix in the oven and slow steamed carrots, beetroots and broccoli; a thin, cold, garlicky sauce to match

Did I mention that I am dead tired and dead hungry. And there is NO No food at home. :(

I don't let everyone see my balls. 4 nights on points at IC Vienna a few weeks back gave me that ball collection.

Sadly - 'er indoors has got it into her mind that all wine should be in quarter litre glasses just like the heuirges around Vienna. Can't wean her off. Still, at least she drinks and drinks and drinks and falls off into a snoring slump.

Made her a lovely fresh salmon and asparagus risotto today with some bought sourdough bread. Simple but decent. Fresh box of balls today.

Finally a chance to contribute something real to this thread again! My last day of my first year of law school was today so I got together with some friends for a post-finals cookout. I worked the grill of course, did some brats, burgers and dogs and my friend who hosted us provided a couple of home brews, one of which (a Russian Stout) was amazing.

From a health and safety viewpoint I can spot at least six rules being broken. :D

Yeah bad form on my part for not getting a picture with the beer. One person showed up with a 24 pack of mini Corona bottles. I do not think I wish to remain her friend.
