Had a turkey and cheese melt for lunch, for dinner just spaghetti with butter and parmesan and a couple slices of a Whole Foods Baguette.
|
Breakfast: none (besides 2 glasses of Taittinger) :)
Lunch: Canapés with roast beef/wasabi, herbed labneh cherry tomato & salmon cream cheese wrap. Followed by Braised veal cheeks and seared filet mignon (grossly overcooked) with potato mousseline, white asparagus and crispy prosciutto. For afters, a warm baked apple and raspberry filo pastry with vanilla anglaise |

Had chicken rolled tacos for lunch, topped with lettuce, sour cream, shredded
cheese, and avocado. Dinner will be a bowl of tomato basil soup and side salad. |

First class flight?
The labne hints at a Mid-Eastern airline - or a flight to a city in that region, but the presence of prosciutto might negate that idea. So I'd go with BA or LH. |

I was thinking it's from a flight too.

The Mid-Eastern connection is always to look out for. So far QR has parts of AB and AZ, haven't seen anything about them getting into BA (yet). |

I agree - inspired guess! I didn't know BA had a lounge at LCY
No general lounge, sad to find, going intra-EU a couple of weeks ago. For BabyBus departures from gate 24, this gate is built like a mini lounge, with breakfast items, champagne/wine/beers/sodas (no spirits, at least not when I arrived). The all-business A319 only takes 32 passengers, so the crowds are easily handled. |
Breakfast: Banana then a hot Chai Latte and snickerdoodle from Mad Hatter's Bake Shop in Durham
Lunch: Big Sky Grilled salad from Ted's Montanan Grill: Mixed greens with smoky bacon, grated Cheddar cheese, diced egg, and croutons with bison. Really good actually. |

With one exception. I could never resist the Belgian chocolate coated toffee popcorn M&S used to sell. Plain pork rib cooked on the parrilla for lunch today. |
