Had a turkey and cheese melt for lunch, for dinner just spaghetti with butter and parmesan and a couple slices of a Whole Foods Baguette.

Had chicken rolled tacos for lunch, topped with lettuce, sour cream, shredded
cheese, and avocado. Dinner will be a bowl of tomato basil soup and side
salad.

I was thinking it's from a flight too.

The labne hints at a Mid-Eastern airline - or a flight to a city in that region, but the presence of prosciutto might negate that idea. So I'd go with BA or LH.

Good point! I was think EK NRT-DXB but he doesn't make any mention of a second meal and the prosciutto might rule that out. So, that narrows it down to 6 to 7 hours in my estimation...I'm going to guess SQ SIN-DXB.

Onobond, what say you?

Just noticed that he mentions the beef was vastly overcooked. God forbid, I hope he isn't flying UA.

No, actually Business. The BA BabyBus, the all-business LCY-JFK flights, running the same flight numbers as Concorde (1-4)

Good guess! The Mid-Eastern connection is always to look out for. So far QR has parts of AB and AZ, haven't seen anything about them getting into BA (yet).

I agree - inspired guess! I didn't know BA had a lounge at LCY

Both yes and no.

No general lounge, sad to find, going intra-EU a couple of weeks ago.

For BabyBus departures from gate 24, this gate is built like a mini lounge, with breakfast items, champagne/wine/beers/sodas (no spirits, at least not when I arrived). The all-business A319 only takes 32 passengers, so the crowds are easily handled.

Breakfast: Banana then a hot Chai Latte and snickerdoodle from Mad Hatter's Bake Shop in Durham

Lunch: Big Sky Grilled salad from Ted's Montanan Grill: Mixed greens with smoky bacon, grated Cheddar cheese, diced egg, and croutons with bison. Really good actually.

Not a fan of popcorn....don't like those wee bits of kernel that always seem to get stuck to my tongue.
With one exception. I could never resist the Belgian chocolate coated toffee popcorn M&S used to sell.

Plain pork rib cooked on the parrilla for lunch today.
