Kalamansi and mango meringue

I had to look it up to be sure I knew what Horlicks was. That took me for a ride down Memory Lane. 50 years ago I had a college professor who kept a jar of Horlicks tablets in her desk drawer. If she caught you yawning, she would offer you one. Wikipedia indicates that the beverage powder is drunk in the evening in the UK and in the morning in India. She was neither British nor Indian.

She was probably over 40 and in training. I’m always shocked at how little some experienced grocery workers know about basic produce items. You can tell the ones that don’t eat their vegetables. Or limit their choices to corn and baked beans. If I managed a grocery store, new employee orientation would start in the produce department. And there would be samples. And a quiz at the end.
