Woke up this morning with pie on my mind - this one is blueberry custard with a streusel topping.

My mouth is watering at that beauty.
I wake up many mornings with pie on my mind but that never happens.

How did it go?

yes, I meant that the Costco butter tasted just as good as the fancy French butter. Sigh

How do the fancy French and Costco butters compare to Kerrygold, in your opinion?

I last had kerrygold ages ago and I’ll try it again - my Irish bestie always raved highly about Irish cows :-)

I can't say there is much difference between fancy and regular butters when just spreading on toast. But the higher fat content of the fancy butters is good for things like cookies, cakes, etc.

Plus he is comparing salted butters. I think the difference is more noticeable with unsalted butter.

That’s obscene! Please remove a slice and post another picture.

Any possibility you’d post a recipe?

Stop quoting ILP...I can't look at that photo anymore.
Shouldn't it have a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side though?

Not a problem. I came across this years ago. https://bunnyswarmoven.net/creamy-blueberry-pie/

BTW, there is soooo much sugar in this that I replaced most of the sugar in the custard with Splenda, so it's a bit less guilt provoking.

I think whipped cream is more appropriate because of the "custard" element, but I wouldn't turn down either. :)
