It was our favorite day trip from our East Tennessee home. The food scene has remained wonderful although some have come and gone. The brewery scene has exploded in that time. We come here to get away somewhat from the 3H’s of Florida in August (heat, humidity, hurricanes). Last year we didn’t go out much except to hike and eat/drink outdoors. This year’s focus has been family and breweries. We still need to visit Bouchon for a meal, although I wish the tables weren’t so close together.

Yesterday's lunch was tomato, mozzarella, and cucumber salad plus chimichurri steak, enjoyed in the pool on a hot sunny day. Today's lunch will be leftover salad, sadly at my desk at work.

10 day fast and that is what you are eating? I would be having pizza or a burger after starving for 10 days. :eek:

I've had broth twice today. Still haven't eaten food. I have to ease back into it, otherwise risk getting nauseous and sick from both ends.

I roasted sweet potatoes and had a few chunks tonight. My stomach is gurgling a little, but I’m feeling fine.
