Montauk Driftwood Ale - much better than I expected

Shock Top - much worse than I remember (poured most of it out)

Last night, Pierre Huet Poire (pear cider from Normandy) which had only 2% alcohol, and Pierre Huet Cidre Doux at 2.5% alcohol.

Those are "near beer" numbers. I'm not saying I wouldn't drink it but how many do you have to drink to notice it's hard?

Well there was a third cider from Louis de Lauriston at 4.5% and all three were in 750mL format.

That seems more typical. I'm used to seeing a range between 4 and 5%.

Sculpin Unfiltered - better than the regular Sculpin but Habanero Sculpin is still my favorite from Ballast Point

Not too sweet - very nice summer drink.

I actually very much disliked the Habanero Sculpin when someone brought it over. Just not a good idea (even though I generally like Ballast Point's beers).

Grabbed some Long Trail Limbo IPA. Still probably the #1 IPA when it comes to those more accessible. Focal Banger and Heady Topper are still hard to beat.

Sweet Water Hash Session IPA. Pretty tasteless actually.

I enjoyed the Habanero Sculpin, but was a little surprised that the bartender was amazed I'd drink it without complaining about the kick.

Just grabbed a cool Monteiths Red IPA from the fridge. Love the taste since I visited their brewery in NZ!
