Apparently I was in a quantity over quality mood the other day (perhaps with upcoming family Christmas in mind?) when I bypassed all the good crafts and instead walked out with a case of Hamm's.
However, I will be picking up some good brew from Blackrocks this week to make up for my decision. |
Wilmington Weldwerks -- great collaboration NE DIPA from Wilmington Brewing Company and WeldWerks Brewing with proceeds going towards NC/SC hurricane relief

Voodoo Ranger Hazy IPA. Yeah, it's breakfast time... But it's a citrusy beer. And it lessens the pain of sitting in the airport for several more hours.

A few good ones recently:
New Anthem Five Thieves (incredible -- New Anthem is killing it on the NC beer scene) Sip of Sunshine (last of my current batch until the next trip to New England) NoDa Hop Drop N'Roll Sycamore Mountain Candy IPA CitrAphilia |

Aslin's "Volcano Sauce," a sour with blueberry, vanilla, and lactose. Closest thing to a pastry sour they've put out in a few years; quite tasty.
Followed by Aslin's San Saba, a pecan pie stout. Decent, if not as sweet as I'd expect for a pie stout. Followed by Bruery's 11 Pipers Piping; solid Scotch ale, with nice flavor, but I'd like it to be a bit boozier and with a bit more barrel flavor to it. Still a solid 4/5 for me. |
Sapporo Premium
