Ommegang Hennepin last night

I had a taste last night of Sweetwater's 420 Strain G13. I'm glad I asked for a taste and not a pint. Smells strongly of weed. Less of the cannabis in the flavor. Of course there's no weed in it, just a couple weedy strains of hops and a few terpenes blended in,

Bud Light for the first time in ages at the NYE party I went to...

...at least it had fewer calories than the IPAs I usually drink?

I had that a few months ago when a keg of G13 landed at my local beer bar. I didn't hate it, I gave it a 3.5 on untapped, but certainly not a beer I'd want often. Was nothing like New Belgium's Hemperor IPA, which I thought was so bad I gave up half way through the snifter. :o

When I was in Tampa earlier this week I stopped by Coppertail and Cigar City on my way back to the airport. Both good spots, the Saaa Brah IPA at Coppertail was tasty and Space Pope IPA at Cigar City was good. I also tried their Nightmare Confetti which is a DIPA and I kinda went back and forth on it taste wise.

How was it? Sadly, it's become more difficult to find Innis & Gunn in my part of the US. I guess it wasn't popular enough for liquor stores to stock.

It was delicious. It's still popular enough here that I can find it on the shelf in several liquor stores and occasionally on tap in a couple craft bars. Not the whole range every day, but this one is relatively obscure and I got a whole four pack.

Our favorite local craft beer bar was serving the champagne-bottled Miller High Life on NYE.

I am still jealous that you have Chan's Wine World so close by. What a great selection of beer, especially given that it is mostly wine! https://www.chanswineworld.com/beer/

Yeah, it beats ABC, which has seemingly reduced its craft beer selection here over the last year. Plus Wine World is attached to Craft Bar which has 30 taps and a salad nicoise with ahi tuna that I am quite fond of. In fact, we're moving temporarily to a beach condo while the house undergoes mold remediation. I may be eating/drinking there every night next week.
