It looks like the calendar is pretty much booked. I wish I had flown in and out of AVL instead of CLT. |
Mind Haze IPA by Firestone Walker. Not bad but not as sour as I'd like. I much prefer Fort Point's Villager.
|
Avery Vanilla Bean Stout (aged in bourbon barrels) - tasty, although expensive at $8 per 16oz can
Fat Tire - needed a 12-pack of something in cans for the resort's hot tub |

We will hit the road again in June, probably visit family in MA. There will be beer. |

I still managed a few new beers including a Stone hazy double IPA and a locally brewed IPA in CLT on the way home. Two Destihl beers in the fridge, a raspberry wild sour and Haze of the Dead hazy double IPA. We will hit the road again in June, probably visit family in MA. There will be beer. |

I took a Brews Cruise in AVL a few years back with work friends. My advice is pace yourself and don’t feel like you have to try everything. I did not follow that advice and paid a heavy price for it. Certainly Ubering to and from it. Unlike a lot of events, this isn't unlimited beer. so that should help. But yeah, even if just one pint at each, it is 7 pints in a short period of time. And if you try more than one....... |
