Seat selection is all messed up. When I select seats for upcoming flights, any exit row seats I select don't hold when I click on save and continue (despite answering the exit row questions correctly), only the non-exit row ones did. Tried in IE and Chrome.
Then later figured out that if I change 1 seat at a time, and click on Save instead of Next flight, it will work.
I'm also showing "upgrade requested" for an upcoming international flight. That would be nice...

Also, on a two segment routing with the second segment arriving at 12:04 AM it says "This is an Overnight Flight" under the wrong flight. I thought for a second I'd made a big mistake booking the trip.

Is anyone else consistently having trouble viewing "my flights" on DL.com? I keep getting "error 999"? I have to reload the page 4 - 6 times before it ever shows the details of my next flight.

The 'view upgrade list' function was also not working consistently today for me, and the mobile website (still mostly broken, BTW) was also failing more than usual.

Me too. I cannot believe that they have released this piece of junk website.

Same problem here. Their old site was one of the better airline ones. Why release a new version that's a complete retrograde non-improvement to that??!!
And it appears virtually unusable today. Well, actually: I got a flight booked, but checking itineraries/seat assignments, no go after 5 attempts. 999 error. Also not reserving exit row problem also encountered.

Yes pbiflyer, thank you. I couldn't have put it any better. Piece of... anything! Please, someone who knows how to start a new thread - this is a major one. The uprise against this version of the site should be bigger then the one against TSA body search, as it goes directly to your pocket, and quality of life as a Delta customer. I don't know when this new site was released. Same as with TSA, no e-mail or announcement. TSA administrator claimed that they did it for security reasons. What's Delta's excuse? It's an absolute disaster. Was it tested at all? Today I saw for the first time the page that is coming up when you do a search to book a flight. Maybe there is a chance that site users will rebel now, as it concerns them personally. The changes, other then full with bugs and malfunctions, are taking away from you great many tools that were available before, and also reducing the speed of your search. It looks like that the dumbing down of the site got one purpose in mind, to make it look like other travel sites which give you less options, and then you just going to buy the ticket that they want you to buy, without the ability to take the best decision for you. In the old version you could easily see all the flights available on one page, and then make changes at the bottom, for example, class of booking. No more. You can view one class of booking at a time, and if you want to change to a different class, you have to start from the beginning. That means that you have to make all the selections from scratch. If you want to reduce the number of airports/lay overs, for example, you have to eliminate them one by one and let the page refresh. Every elimination takes a minute. Total 5 minutes a pop, 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back. If you search for awhile, you will spend so much time on this website that no doubt you will give up and just get whatever they want you to buy. Same with other options that you had before to select while booking. Now you can't navigate them on the same page, the way you could re-organize them before to view your preferences. If you end up with 4 hour layover in some godforsaken-domestic-storm-stricken connection, this is why. If their actions in the past were sub-standard in the industry, while turning a profit, (eliminating/packing flights, making you fly in unacceptable conditions, crumbling/dirty planes, rude and unqualified staff, no entertainment system on many domestic flights also in first, no amenities, you name it), this is simply stupid, taking away your planning/booking tools from you. People, don't be silent. You are the one's who are paying their salaries and bonuses. This is a call for input on the site, and a call for customers to demand that the previous version of the booking site will be returned.

Is there any acknowledgement on the Delta site of a problem? I have submitted many complaint requests there and received nary one response.
You'd think the media would have had a story too by now.
And more posts here.
Is it something local to certain only users?
Boy it is getting annoying. I can't even check my seat assignment for a flight Friday.

I've been getting the "Message #999" error about 90% of the time whenever I try to view my itineraries or do anything with them. This has been going on for almost a week now. Also been getting intermittant "Application Unavailable" when I try to use the flight status tool.
Seriously ticking me off. They can't even get a BASIC FUNCTION like viewing an itinerary to work? ... Delta?!

Can't access anything
I thought it was just me because the name on my account has changed to my married name, but the ticket is in my maiden name. Tried accessing through SkyMiles sign in and then just with the itinerary and name when not logged into SkyMiles and get the # 999 error either way. I called customer service, and talked to one very rude person who couldn't help me. Transferred to online support who told me "oh we must have a problem with our systems because I can't access it either".
I just want to make sure my ticket still exists since I am in name change limbo, sigh.

Wow, tried to check in tonight. Only showed the boarding pass for the 2nd leg of my flight. Called support. What a useless exercise that was.
First told it was a problem with my printer. When I pointed out that I was receiving an error message on the DL web site when I executed the exact steps she told me, she said that it must be my computer, because she can see the boarding pass.
Was told that maybe I should try again later.
They had no interest in actually doing any debugging or investigation of any sort. No wonder all these bugs continue. Delta Technology doesn''t care.
