Yes pbiflyer, thank you. I couldn't have put it any better. Piece of... anything! Please, someone who knows how to start a new thread - this is a major one. The uprise against this version of the site should be bigger then the one against TSA body search, as it goes directly to your pocket, and quality of life as a Delta customer. I don't know when this new site was released. Same as with TSA, no e-mail or announcement. TSA administrator claimed that they did it for security reasons. What's Delta's excuse? It's an absolute disaster. Was it tested at all? Today I saw for the first time the page that is coming up when you do a search to book a flight. Maybe there is a chance that site users will rebel now, as it concerns them personally. The changes, other then full with bugs and malfunctions, are taking away from you great many tools that were available before, and also reducing the speed of your search. It looks like that the dumbing down of the site got one purpose in mind, to make it look like other travel sites which give you less options, and then you just going to buy the ticket that they want you to buy, without the ability to take the best decision for you. In the old version you could easily see all the flights available on one page, and then make changes at the bottom, for example, class of booking. No more. You can view one class of booking at a time, and if you want to change to a different class, you have to start from the beginning. That means that you have to make all the selections from scratch. If you want to reduce the number of airports/lay overs, for example, you have to eliminate them one by one and let the page refresh. Every elimination takes a minute. Total 5 minutes a pop, 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back. If you search for awhile, you will spend so much time on this website that no doubt you will give up and just get whatever they want you to buy. Same with other options that you had before to select while booking. Now you can't navigate them on the same page, the way you could re-organize them before to view your preferences. If you end up with 4 hour layover in some godforsaken-domestic-storm-stricken connection, this is why. If their actions in the past were sub-standard in the industry, while turning a profit, (eliminating/packing flights, making you fly in unacceptable conditions, crumbling/dirty planes, rude and unqualified staff, no entertainment system on many domestic flights also in first, no amenities, you name it), this is simply stupid, taking away your planning/booking tools from you. People, don't be silent. You are the one's who are paying their salaries and bonuses. This is a call for input on the site, and a call for customers to demand that the previous version of the booking site will be returned.
