For some weird reason, every time you pull up a 757 seat-map (with PTVs or without), the plane type listed on the seatmap is 757-300... clearly that is incorrect because that is only a NW plane and not on traditional DELTA routes yet, but also the seat maps themselves show seating that is inline with the Delta 757-200s and not the NW 757-300.

I am sure this is reported 100's of times before, but I am trying to do a PHL-FCO trip for the parents and get a list of flights -- plenty of outbound flight possible for 200K. Then the return flight does not show. I revise the return date, and then it shows nothing on the outbound at all. I have tried this multiple times and various combinations. Sometimes I get choices for out but no return, sometimes both, sometimes nothing.... VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.
Update -
Called the Platinum reservations line, took 10 minutes got everything done. His response was "yeah, sometimes [the online award engine] is a bear".

Checking in to DCA/LGA shuttle today
Hi-
I am receiving a strange bug when attempting to check in to DL5924- the 5:30 pm DCA/LGA shuttle today.
I am a SE and I first checked in to the flight from the Delta email. The 'Upgrade Status' column did not appear on the 'Select Passenger(s) and Bags' screen, and my ticket showed 'Zone 2' for boarding.
However, when I pulled up my reservation from the 'itineraries and check in menu,' the screen showed that an upgrade was available (green box with an option to click through). When I clicked through, I received the same screen as above (no upgrade status column, still zone 2 boarding).
Today, when I tried checking the itinerary again, I now see the 'Upgrade Status' column- this now lists my upgrade status as 'Requested.' However, when I try to view the upgrade list, I keep getting the 'You must check in for the flight to view your standing on the Upgrade & Standby list' message- even though I have checked in multiple times and printed my ticket.

None. Zero, zilch, zip. Not MSP-ORD, not MSP-BOS, not MSP-DTW (!!!).
Something is screwed up. Ideas?

"a small number of flights"
Or, every flight on half the system.
NWA has a tiny link to a page which says:
We are updating our reservations systems, and a small number of flights may be temporarily unavailable for purchase. If you're having trouble finding the flight you're looking for, please try back after 3 p.m. EST on January 24, 2010.
If by "small" they mean "huge."
Oh, well.

Not exactly a bug, but this feature appeared a few months ago.
When first visiting delta.com, the "focus" field is "from airport". This automatically places your cursor in the "from airport" field. The problem is the focus doesn't move the cursor until most other content on the page has loaded. Assuming you are starting from a blank web page, when you visit delta.com for the purpose of logging into your account, you can click into the PIN field and start to enter your PIN but as the page continues to load the focus changes to "from airport" and you end up typing your PIN into "from airport".
I realize I can simply visit delta.com and wait a few seconds to click into the PIN field to enter my PIN, but on a wireless aircard or lousy hotel internet circuit it takes a while to load other content and for the focus to change to "from airport". I don't know if older versions of the home page did not have a focus or if current code just causes the focus to take effect late in the page load, but for those that don't visit delta.com to buy a ticket from the home page, it is a PITA.
I usually log into my account before I search for flights or do anything else so that it recognizes my Medallion status. Lately I end up entering my PIN in the "from airport" field almost every time I visit delta.com.

i've known about this one for a bit, however i've not had a chance with everything going on to be able to sit down and figure out the best way to tackle it. problem is that someone could click anywhere. so while you have headed to login, someone else might have already put the cursor into the from field and already be onto the date. usually when i've gotten a few minutes to think about it, something more pressing comes up.
also, i (as well as quite a few others) do look at this thread on a regular basis. we've tried to work in fixes for items mentioned whenever possible, but we've all been grinding away at all the related merger activities. i think once the dust settles with that, no only will we have a bit more bandwidth to fix things, but add some of the feature requests brought up in numerous threads.

As usual, please let me know what I can do to help make your job easier, from which one of the results would be to help www.delta.com be a better Internet web site for fellow FlyerTalk members to use.
Thank you, DeltaWebDev.

Another thing that generates the transaction failed or fare no longer available message is not being logged into the Delta.com when trying to book a flight actually offered by Northwest. It used to be that you couldn't book a ticket for anyone else when you were logged in, now they've made an unannounced change that you have to be logged in. But nobody in help desk or in their Web design page realizes it.
Of course, major changes are coming shortly as they purport to finish the Delta-NW integration so who knows how it behaves next time.

Any chance the site cookie could remember the last name as well as the FF#? It would be nice to only have to type my PIN when I get timed out.
