Well, not to beat a dead horse, but I do want to forward this onto someone at Delta IT.

I upgraded to IE 8 to see if it would work, and unfortunately, I'm still not able to hit delta.com, although I do get further. There's an error on the page, and I wante to cut and paste the details here.

PM Problem with DL accounts

I sent this in today.

As a PM member I expect better treatment than this. I have now spent 2 hours on the phone with DL web support over the last 24 hours and a total of 3 hours since Friday. I have had 2 major problems and keep getting conflicting information each time I call and cannot get anything resolved. This is extremely frustration and as waste of my valuable time.

Problem 1 still no resolution:- I can log into my DL account with Skymiles number, last name and pin. When I click on my profile I get and error message saying: We are unable to retrieve your SkyMiles profile information at this time. Please try again in a few minutes

If I click on my Skymiles mileage I get the following error. System Unavailable We're sorry but this service is not available at this time. Please try again later.

I have called 6 times. Spoken with 3 supervisors and still have not received promised emails or call backs as to why I have the problem.

Welcome to FT Mgz and sorry it is under less than favorable conditions. You will find that we are a great group except for the usual black sheep (note to self - need white paint). Try the DL lounge some time.

On a separate note - - -

Two items:

1. When does DL expect to have the issue accurately posting completed travel and all associated miles corrected. I received "We have been notified by our technology team that there's a bit of clean up to do with the way our members are seeing the postings and what they should be seeing. Please know that they're working diligently to correct this, but with the many phases of the integration and merger, it may be a bit before the kinks all get worked out." in response to this question on 19 Nov.

2. It now seems that when signing in to DL.com at two week intervals Mrs. Italy and I are presented with "Provide Your Email Address

Pardon the interruption, but we noticed that you haven't provided a primary email address in your SkyMiles profile yet.

Please enter an email address where we can contact you in case you ever forget your SkyMiles PIN. As soon as you're done, we'll take you right back to what you were doing." even though we received "It's time to check-in" on 29 Nov.

DiverDave, have you had your miles post yet? We still haven't seen them in our account.

Angry Delta Online Booking can't book some fares

Delta Online Booking can't book some fares. So frustrated.

Trying to book a LAX-CUN direct route. The fare comes up but when you try to book it you get this message:

"The fare quoted earlier of $408.14 (USD) has changed. The new fare for this itinerary is $478.14 (USD). To continue your purchase click Continue. Otherwise click Start Over to return to the Reservations input
screen and select different dates and times".

This has been going on for days. Funny thing is you can book this fare through the phone with Delta reps and on sites like Orbitz or other sites. What is wrong with delta.com?

I want to pay with miles using the Delta Reserve card so this is very frustrating!

Sky Miles and MQM Miles are no longer shown

It used to be that when you pulled up the details for any itinierary it would show the number of Sky Miles and MQM miles that would be earned for that particular trip. This information is no longer displayed. It is only shown at the time the ticket is purchased on line. Why are the miles no longer displayed? I called and talked to a useless person at web support and all she could say is that this is a new "feature" of the merger. What BS! If you can show the miles that will be earned when a ticket is purchased you should be able to show that same information in the trip details information for that itinerary. What's the problem Delta?

Exclamation smetrics.delta.com down

I'm no longer able to pick my seats.

When I click "Choose Your Seats", my browser shows that it is waiting for smetrics.delta.com. That host does not respond.

"Not Eligible" for upgrades

I'm PM about to book a ticket from LGA to PBI for the holiday (well outside of the peak travel days). On all the direct flights on Northwest (K class) it's says that I'm "not eligible" for an upgrade even though, in both directions, the aircraft is an A319/320 that has a first class cabin that is wide open.

Same is true on "some" connecting flights on Delta metal. E.g., on a route from LGA-ATL-PBI, I'm "request only" on the first leg and then "not eligible" on the second, even though it's an MD-88 with an open first class cabin.

I've been flying a lot more with Continental recently. Did I miss something?

Dear Italy98,

Ready for your upcoming flight? Save time and check in online now whether you are traveling with or without baggage. And don't worry about reconfirming your flights - you're all set!

Delta confirmation # XXXXXX

Check-in button still greyed out. How long after the scheduled departure time should one be able to OLCI or does DL know this flight will be delayed and this is their way of letting us know?

Problems with Delta.com with Safari browser

Anyone else having problems accessing Delta.com using Safari browser for MAC? I can get to the homepage, but that's about it. Anything else comes up in a format as if I were viewing it from a mobile device.
I called the web tech support and she said a few people had the same complaint and suggested that I use a PC or IE to access the site

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem today.

Thanks

That's nonsense, delta.com works fine with Safari. Check your Safari security preferences and make sure you have Javascript and cookies enabled.

I'm usually the first to criticize delta.dumb, but it does work (to use the term loosely) on a Mac using Safari.

You also might want to make sure you're using the most recent version of Safari, 4.04. If you're using an old version, dl.com might be mistaking it for an iPhone version.
