Just discovered that PER-BKK is actually a one-stop PER-HKT-BKK. :-:

Agreed. Most of the E+ cabin is either a) elites or b) people who didn't have seat assignments and got seated there as that was all that was left.

I've often advised my non-elite friends not to get seat assignments on UA flights so they can sit in E+ for free.

I doubt it. I see CO Plat going to 100k.

There just aren't any benefits they can add or take away for a 75k level. Besides, look at how pissed all the Silvers are.

I don't understand what the Silvers are up in arms about. When I was a Silver, I flew routes that had a chance of upgrades and did alright, but I knew that I wouldn't come close to the front cabin on a lot of routes.

None of that has changed.

To me, Silver has one real benefit left: ability to upgrade at purchase via Y and B fares. Sure, the occasional completely empty flight might upgrade but those are fairly rare these days.

I've managed to bag HKT-BKK already, but for some reason prefer the aerogeek aesthetics of PER-HKT to PER-BKK.

I agree that CO will re-align to 25/50/100. Hopefully, this means SWU for Plats. CO may also add a fourth, revenue-based, non-published tier called Blanket Services (BS). In addition to being guaranteed a pillow and blanket on their seats, BS members will have their upgrades clear at a T-6 vs T-5 for Plats.

:D

Can someone confirm - is IAH-AUS worth 2000 EQM's with the DEQM promo?

Keep Plat where it is and a 1k CO flier would get higher priority for EUA's, maybe a higher mileage bonus, and a couple SWU's. Compelling to me.

CO should also formalize their version of GS.

I thought BS service was currently available at SFO. :-::-::-:

I believe that is true, if my understanding is correct.

IAH-AUS r/t is worth 2k EQMs if you are already an elite.

IAH-AUS o/w is worth 1k EQMs if you are already an elite.

Only if the name on your OP profile is "Glass Joe."

There's a thread over in BD-land that goes over the latest changes to Diamond Club, which are positive. Miles-for-upgrade on higher fare-buckets, and GUVs are phased out as of today, in favor of e-GUVs that are confirmable 7 days in advance on BD flights. 1 GUV to go Y-Y+, 3 to go Y-C. All Golds will have 4 e-GUVs deposited in their accounts.

Just, make sure you rinsed it in fresh water at the end of this season and you should be set for next year. I've found that the snorkel is good most anytime if you plan on being down awhilehttp://rolleye.com/pirate.gif

More is more, especially if you need them
