SQ 345 and CAN/HKG Is Not Possible. They only have five 345's and they are dedidcated to EWR/LAX-SIN in the 100J config.

UA's 747s SFO-HKG have flat seats. Essentially similar to CO's new J seat.

After flying to NRT for 14 hours in CO angled seat, I swore I would never do that again. I am just concerned with the TPAC segment having a flat bed seat. I can handle 3 or 4 hours in a recliner seat to HKG or CAN.

Has anyone has any success redeeming a CO award with SQ’s 100J config 345?

I don't know why I mentioned specifically the SFO-HKG route. In fact UA uses 747s for all their NS to HKG from SFO and ORD as well as other longhaul destinations. All UA's 747s have their new C seats installed now. Just don't book a 777 as none of those have the new C seats and IIRC not going to get them until sometime next year.

I have not watched TV in HD for a while now. My 52 inch (ridiculously too big anyway) HD went all wobbly bonkers and I have not had the time to research any new HD tv's. I will try to get a 42 inch before Christmas through ShopOnePass.
