Good morning everyone!

ConciergeMike Aug 12, 2008 11:21 am

I ended up getting the day of the ACY Boardwalk Airshow off when I didn't think that I would. Hmmmmm. To go or not to go - the V-22 doesn't seem to be on the latest release of the schedule.

+1 - usually the Box rescues me from boredom.

Well, it looks like my work stuff won't interfere with the planned trip to PHL. I'll e-mail you later.

Great success!! Now we need to hold the Box-wide vote on where to get the cheesesteaks. I know there are some Tony Luke's fans besides me, and monitor has a thing for Dalessandro's. Those are the only two contenders I know of.

I think you are confused. Monitor is a Tony Luke's fan. I am a fan of Dalessandro's in Roxborough. However, Tony Luke's seems like a good place to get a chessesteak - away from the riff-raff of Pat's and Geno's.

No, NO, NO. I am a Tony Luke's man all the way. I said that Dalessandro's was also OK if that was where the crowd wanted to go but my first vote will always be for TL, one "cheesesteak with" and one "Pork Italian brocorabe and sharp."

I'm stuck in another all day meeting with Qualcomm and all this talk of meat and cheese is just not fair. ;)

I actually fall into the camp of semi-locals that likes Geno's. I've never been to Tony Luke's but would certainly be willing to give it a try.

Actually every New York guy whom I have told about TLs likes it. The last one said that what he also liked was that it was only a block or two from the highway and he never needed to actually go into Philadelphia.

Duly noted, sirs. I'm with you re: Tony's. My mother just went there on the way to the Neil Diamond concert @ Wachovia Sunday night. ^

Never been to Geno's despite several visits across the street to Pat's. Tony's is can't-miss goodness.

Whiz is optional at every place that I know of. I'm a sauteed onions and provolone guy. Agree re: White House - I don't go there and get normal subs...always cheesesteaks. Should have gone there instead of Tun. :D

So is it safe to say Tony Luke's on Friday at ~+30 from Hartmann's arrival?
