Yes sbm12, I have enjoyed the blog thoroughly. Even if you looked like a dork in the JetBlue tshirt....

Love his books and I've read them all.

I read almost all of them, until I came to the realization that he writes the same story over and over again. It's the same plot points with different names and places. One of his guys always dies on the insertion into the mission that is the book's crescendo.

James Patterson too -- I gave up on him when someone from law enforcement turned out to be the bad guy at the end in four or five straight books. I was reading Roses Are Red and figured it out about halfway through. Thankfully, Vince Flynn has not reached that point, but he has introduced the dreaded sidekick.

I had a rather entertaining conversation with my wife when headed out on Saturday morning wearing the shirt. We agreed that since I wasn't wearing the shirt of the concert while at the concert, but rather a different shirt from the same band, I was only mostly a tool, not completely so.

I did get a lot of B6 employees who thought I was one as well because of it. That was fun.

My understanding was that Rapp would be phased out as a main character and Nash would become the focus, but I haven't read (listened to) that book yet so I dunno. I hope he doesn't do something silly with the franchise, though.

Read the blog often as well.

In case you were wondering on the MoH recipient, Chicago is hosting the Congressional Medal of Honor Convention

Apparently there were a lot of MoH recipients at O'Hare on Saturday and Sunday.

Regular reader here as well.

And for MoH recipients, while all are heros, the story of one Roy P. Benavidez is one of the most amazing accounts I've ever read.

What can he do with Rapp when Rapp gets to be played out? He either gets killed or takes Kennedy's job. It's not like Mitch Rapp will run for office.

Benavidez is a good one, as is Bruce "Snake" Crandall.

I assumed that he would be referenced but never involved in the story. He would continue to exist but not really have a role in anything. But who knows?

sbm12 is FlyerTalk's statistical outlier:
