I guess 12k SPG points a year is not bad. Not enough to get me to take time during the week or on a Saturday to go to the bank and deal with it, but I can see how the work at home crowd might find it worthwhile.

We don't have no TD's where I live.
So, my plan is to get an SPG Amex, buy 20k/month in coins,then drive to Jersey and cash them in at TD.

I can't believe the JW Marriott Jakarta was bombed again yesterday. That's the second bombing in the last few years and they had really tight security after the first incident. The Ritz Jakarta also was bombed yesterday, and at least four people were killed.

I don't know, six hours? I could just hire Amtrak Red Caps to help me load and unload them on Amtrak up to Jersey, or take the Bolt bus and get robbed by a fellow passenger.

That's really f'd - I'm glad I eliminated Jakarta from this month's trip, as I likely would have been staying at the JW or Ritz. Definitely will be going back to the dharmawangsa foe future trips and avoiding the JW.
