Yes, I remember that!:D

I'm still annoyed w/myself that when I went to the DEN dinner -- I chose to put in cash -- to make it easier, but really wanted to use my CO MC for 60 miles!;)

In those situations, I tend to like "separate checks" combined with "throw in some cash for the host/hostess' meal".

Well definitely not as bad as you, but it was just a long day. It was almost ten hours and most of it was on 737s.

For GIG you'd need a Visa. Not sure about EZE.

Screws fall out all the time; the world's an imperfect place. Seven miles is not much in the grand scheme.

The GMA one seemed ok.

I was looking at those as well. I even had the connecting flights from TUL show up as well. :(

You know you're now destined to complete a transaction with AA that gets you to just below the threshold for transferring to HH ("I see 24,993 miles in your future").

Morning box. I am somewhat irritated as I am sitting here waiting for the Oil Tank removal service to come and remove a basement oil tank from the house we need to demolish. the house is empty and about 1/4 mile away from where i live now.

They told me there would be there at 8am. It is now 10:20 and they are still not there. I sat outside the house until 9:30, and gave up and came home, called the company who said they would be another 30-45 minutes. I told them to call me when they get there so i can go back.

 You would think in this economy companies would be trying to ramp up their customer service......

774 is a pretty good score.

oh yes! I can't believe how much the teens use facebook and texting. It's their method of communicating. When did plain old talking to each other using their vocal cords fizzle out?

I think (at least I hope) that the kids have learned to value their privacy. When they do enter these sites they'll be a whole lot less inclined to say/post stuff that shouldn't be out in public. That's my main concern.

Kids use such poor judgment about what they post.

How do you bookmark a post? I'd like to do that too. We have a LOT of expenses coming up with our house build.

Who knows. I have yet to stay at a hotel where the client has set up a direct bill arrangement where it was a good experience.

I have two clients that do this. One always uses the Embassy Suites in SAT, which in reality is not bad, but after 15-20 stays it becomes really old!

Another client does it, and it's usually at a Marriott or Courtyard, so not bad at all.

From vestigial pipes that cannot be coal, I can tell that my home had an oil-burner at one time; I don't miss having $700 of #2 oil attached to the back of my house from my life (all but three years) on the east coast.

I forgot to announce my car's 11th "birthday" Sunday*

Morning, Box. Hope y'all had a nice weekend! I sailed through Beltway traffic, learned more about George Washington and his crop rotations and false teeth than I ever thought was possible (Mount Vernon), got a few unexpected cuts, bruises, and lungfuls of the Shenandoah (tubing), and knocked a glass of water all over tjt4's dad at dinner. Very successful weekend. :p

I ALSO booked what I believe are all the rest of 2009's flights, save for one EWR-CLE to go home for Christmas. I will hit Platinum on the Sunday after Thanksgiving - and, since I actually don't have to work on Monday, I hope to be the CLE Bump Vulture that day. :D

One thing to do this week is my new Chase personal and business accounts...

The requirements for the business account are $500 initial deposit and you have to sign up for the $65 CO card (or barter the $65 fee for a $7 beer :D).

That sounds like a pretty good negotiation. :) How'd you swing that?

We have the same last name...very interesting. I haven't gotten any weird phone calls or mail, though!
