Which coins are you ordering?

I've heard that the charge card's unofficial limit is an average of your previous six statements, so I'm treading carefully with the charge card.

I've never heard of that restriction but have never used any card (credit or charge) as anything other than a traditional charge card.

I'm ordering Presidential coins at the two box per order limit. I don't need any red flags with AmEx, so I'm not coming close to my limit or anything.

My mother wanted to throw me some points once, and she said she would charge something like $34K in airline tickets on my charge. I called and let them know that the charge was coming, AmEx noted it, and then every third ticket was getting a denial.  After many phone calls and losing my cool a couple of times, I had a rep tell me that the "No Pre-Set Spending Limit" may or may not be the average of your previous six statements.

Definitely learn something new everyday.

I have to call Citibank and figure out my Driver's Edge cap for the year (think it's $500 back / $25,000 in purchases) so I can determine when I'll need to move to the next rewards card. I think the only expense I've charged to this card all year is the recurring bill for the cable internet ...

Mine came from Brett Bodine's #14. Not so cool you say? It came from LAS and I checked it as one of my pieces of F luggage.

As an option, you can access your Amex account online and make a payment if you've already cashed in your earlier coins.

That is pretty cool...I'd more prefer an F1 tire, but I'd think they are quite hard to come by.

The HHonors card has a balance on it, so I will be doing that with the order that went on that card so as to minimize the daily balance charges. I could go pay the charge on the charge card now, since you mention it. @:-) :-:
