I never understood how that route lasted as long as it did.

I don't know why PDX-FRA ever existed. NYC-FRA and WAS-FRA is the stuff of MRs.

I can help you with that. It is one of my purposes here on FT. :)

As for the dogs, I vaguely recall seeing the "stuffed" version too but I thought the version I got would have been right. Clearly I was wrong.

I got my Garmin GPS I ordered from buy.com on Thursday night :D only to find out it is f'd up and cant acquire a signal . It was a refurbished one and I should have known better but I figured I would try to save a few bucks as I wont really use it that much. I learned my lesson and just jumped on the Dell.com deal on the same but brand new model for $10 more. I hope I get it before the trip to Boston this weekend:rolleyes:.

That's like someone without a house buying a lawnmower. @:-) (I'm guessing you don't own a car, right?)

Aloha box. Ended up going running tonight. Didn't have time to gym it because the Canuck insisted the lawn needed to be mowed. Still not sure why. But, I don't mind.

sfogate, I'll  you with the itinerary once I book it. I'm having second thoughts about flying into SFO at 1am before a drive to SMF, even if it saves my company $200.

Could be a silly question, but you're not being blocked by some high buildings are you? Mine couldn't lock onto the satellites in Manhattan/Times Square area.

Mmmm... nothing like remembering you had a $100 gift card to the local liquor store (got it just before the honeymoon, and promptly forgot about it). I now have a fridge full of Bavaria and Belgium's finest, and just sat down to a 750ml Maredsous Brune after a particularly  day. ^

I hit the gym and mowed the back yard. Now about time to go run some errands ...

Most of the Box is now envious.

I wouldn't do it, and I'm a pretty big stickler for not stiffing the company with unnecessary airfare charges. Getting in to the hotel at 3am is bad. It is inhumane when it also involves a 3 hour time zone shift.

I should have been clearer about the dogs I tried because the version was the only one I would get (I normally don't like a bunch of toppings). Regardless, they did vary by vendor.. some were much better than others. Really just a crap shoot. But yes, they were inexpensive (well at least for Scandinavian standards) and I didn't have to spend $40 on lunch or dinner for myself. ^ I really did have a good experience with them.. you need to go back and try again! :D

I'm going to slink over to the Photography forum to see if I can figure out what I'm doing wrong with the attachments. I'm using the Image attach feature and checked my profile - I think everything is enabled for me to post images but noting my profile at the bottom of the page says I can't post attachments.. not sure if that matters or not. Arrrg! :)

When you add up your driving time, car rental fees and cost of gas, it isn't worth flying into SFO instead of SMF. But if you are still coming here, let me know when.

I remember reading somewhere on FlyerTalk that the corner of 46th Street and 3rd Avenue is notorious for crappy satellite reception.

Fox's Kilmeade Says Americans Aren't Pure Because "We Keep Marrying Other Species & Ethnics"

ConciergeMike Jul 13, 2009 7:22 pm

Consider who posted the clip and how it's tagged.

I wouldn't deny that he misspoke and got caught up in it, but if this were a bigger story the regular Fox-hating media would be all over it.
