I think we need a DO here.

I won't mind going back. And just a boat ride away is Moracco, which is in a different time zone. Found that bit of information out the hard way.

It's high on my list of places to go. I'd like to stay at the Sofitel Fes Palais Jamaļ

I remember flying into kai-tak in the later 70's early 80's. enough to make you pee your pants :D

I was always waiting for the wing tip to snag someone's laundry off those bamboo poles they had hanging out their windows. That was one wild appoach pattern.

Druk Air operates an A319 into there.

Yeah, I was just reading up on it. Boeing did a whole series of tests with a 737-700 trying to earn the business that went to Airbus in the end. Still a crazy place to fly into.

I am wishing the best for you. ^

Excellent news! ^

As one who is currently looking for a job, I hope it solidifies.

Good luck, I hope NJ teaching jobs are easier to come by than NYC.

Thanks. I'm on track to sub full-time right now, and hopefully that experience combined with a certification and other relevant parts of my charming personality will at least get me interviews.

For poops and giggles, I loaded that airport into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and shot the RWY33 approach in a 737-800. While flight sims aren't necessarily indicative of real life, that approach was horrifically insane. I don't know what's normally allowed to fly into that airport but doing it in a jet is nuts.

I landed safely, of course. But if it had one, the GPWS would've been screaming, "Pull up you crazy b@stards, pull up!"

I love Flight Sim, but I'm dangerous on two levels.

1) My favorite time-killing activity is to turn on a very dense ATC setting and buzz the approaching aircraft in an Extra 300 with the smoke on. Hearing the missed approach calls makes me chuckle.

2) Since I have right-seat experience, I'm real picky about the controls that I buy. I tend to like the expensive ones that are nearly, if not totally HOTAS. Maybe upon getting a new computer, even though I want a laptop, I'll still get a large monitor and a stick/rudder attachment.

Dallas is Craft but my experience at CraftSteak in LAS was indeed phenomenal.

Another random question (Philadelphia), can one take subway to Villanova from 30th Street Station? There is a party of four wanting to go look around. Or will taxi be less expensive?

I was at 30th St. Today Septa Regional Rail trains are up the ramp from the Amtrak area.

That would be a lecturer or instructor. I'm just a lowly part time instructor at Rutgers.

Today I learned what high school teachers feel like when they are disappointed in their students. I also learned that when I ask someone to take a photo of me with all of the camera crew around me that I find someone who can take a photo that actually includes the camera crew.

I'm at the W now, and there is a line literally 40 deep to go up to the rooftop bar.
