Apropos of nothing, is Gabriela's on 93rd and Columbus still good?

I am getting that way too, I used to head off on a 3000 mile roadtrip and try to make it non stop, now I am looking for stops every 1000 miles :)

icurhere2 Aug 6, 2009 9:57 pm

Road trips aren't too bad, although I know stop every four hours for gas, restroom, and food.

When you have a waitlisted segment for an upgrade and you clear, does CO send you an email or do you just have to keep checking the res?

I'm pretty sure they email you with an update to your itinerary. However, my current mileage upgrades have not all cleared, so I can't confirm that with recent experience just yet :)

jrzyshawn Aug 6, 2009 10:23 pm

I have never had one clear in advance either, but I check my CO.com account several times a day  anyway so it's not a big deal.

G'night Box.

We've only got about 5:rolleyes:k more posts to go before we catch up to the current number in the "Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post?" ONMI game. By that point, we'll also have far, far more views :p

I'm up... should be asleep. Good night.

Thanks everyone. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this job opportunity hits the target! I'll try and pass the job fairy to those who need her, if she can help me out.

TGIF.....I hate the summer. Too many flights, too many people and too much drama. Oh and my feet are killing me.

On a lighter note...we are having a battle over the PA volume control knob. Some idiot did the wiring in our gate area and if we are using gate 35, you can not hear yourself making a PA but everyone at gates 32A-34 are blasted.
We have given up on the Airport to fix this problem so one of the guys will spend part of Saturday night rewiring the volume control box.

My mother is in town to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. This visit could go either way.

Good night Box.

Good morning (good afternoon really) Box from DEL.

EWR-DEL was not terribly bad in exit row 32C.
(except for those annoying bathroom lines in front of you).
The middle seat was empy ^....until a random woman (of large proportions...very large actually) came and occupied the seat just because it was empty:td::td:
luckily she went back to her family a couple hours later.

Anyways, heading to MAA later tonight.

Catching up with friends in DEL. Great!^^

oopss..almost forgot....So a pax removed her engagement ring in one of the restrooms on the plane (which was of course a family heirloom with a nice diamond....thats what they said). They made an announcement asking whoever found the ring to return it , no questions asked. THey were announcing till we landed. Then, I dont know what happened. Hope she got her ring back.

Everyone have a fun weekend.

We'll find out when they come on to FT later and blast CO for letting someone steal it.

Enjoy India...I really want to get back there sooner than not.

Nice. I have heard that the situation at Thimphu, Bhutan is nearly as hair-raising. The highway runs right along the edge of the very end of the runway, and they have to stop traffic when the Druk Air flights come in. The winding approach through the mountains is supposed to be even more gut-wrenching than the Kai-Tak Checkerboard Approach.

The "Carrier Deck" at Funchal Airport in Madeira is also pretty cool...

Man I have only been to the boring airports.

Why does my family in the Pit insist on eating at a place called Texas Roadhouse?

In some parts of the country Texas Roadhouse is the place (think SWO - scary I know).

do both as the email is sometimes delayed. :)

So are Boxers more A-Holes or B-Holes?
