Ahh - I see what you're getting at... Someone is taking me to EWR to pick up the car this morning so no vehicle will be left at the rental car place. I figured that would be easier then someone taking us at 4am (:rolleyes:) on Sunday morning.

I looked in to this option and the ride to our hotel + hotel to airport + airport to home when we returned was over $300. I was able to get a 2 day Luxury rental from National for just about $60 (used a free day as well). I'd much rather save money on the ground transportation in NJ and spend it on something that will create a longer lasting memory at one of our destinations.

To me, it was a no brainer...

I was unaware that "scenic" and "Brenham" could be paired in the same sentence. The Blue Bell Creamery is worth visiting, though...
