Craftsteak is really the only steakhouse I've been to that I've enjoyed practically all their side dishes.

Morton's and Palm creamed spinach also both spectacular.
I love creamed spinach, but will only eat it from Morton's, S@W or Ruth's Chris. I wouldn't make it at home. I also love the sweet potato casserole from Ruth's Chris. It's so sweet it could be a dessert. |

Why does my family in the Pit insist on eating at a place called Texas Roadhouse? |

You guys have any suggestions on restaurants in Dallas? My birthday is in two weeks and I've got a reservation at the Renaissance Dallas already, but I don't know where to go for dinner. I was thinking etouffee at Pappadeauxs but that is a chain and while it's usually good that doesn't mean it always is. Other option is Landry's (of bag fame) but that too is a chain. I like meat, so suggestions that are meat related would be welcomed and appreciated.
Pappa's Bros Steakhouse - is part of the Pappas chain, but way great III Forks - meat! more trendy The Crescent Court Hotel - just great with an amzing setting, but don't let anybody see Stanley Korshak next door, serious shopping damage happens there. |
