Workshop done...learned some good stuff and had it reinforced to me that my method of making my way into teaching and my choice of subject are quite possibly the hardest way to enter the field...but I've never been one to take the logically easy road. :rolleyes:

I think that happened on thursday, I was there wednesday and the plane was parked at a gate and used a jet bridge. The story says the boy fell down stairs from a remote stand.

ETA: the story said it happened on Wed, so they must have towed the plane in after that.

I'm sure the other women in The Box can give you suggestions on how to make the most of your misery. We can recommend sad music that you can sing and cry along with. Methods of getting back at said rotten person that involve forwarding their mail to a dead address drop. And we can also tell you to stop wasting your time wishing them dead....it never happens unless you're the one driving the car over them. :D

For poops and giggles, I loaded that airport into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and shot the RWY33 approach in a 737-800. While flight sims aren't necessarily indicative of real life, that approach was horrifically insane. I don't know what's normally allowed to fly into that airport but doing it in a jet is nuts.

I landed safely, of course. But if it had one, the GPWS would've been screaming, "Pull up you crazy b@stards, pull up!"

LOL. I think guys may take a different approach than girls in such scenarios. My coping mechanism has been blowing through a stash of miles on things like A310 rides, and using up my $100 Spec's Liquor Store Gift Card on high-octane Belgian Beer.

ETA - With any luck, I can get enough Aerogeekery/Crazy-Travel-Planning done in the near future to allow sufficient time for a second mid-life crisis at the usual time (late 30s).
