Well that was very much not good for the Indians. Hard to believe that Fielder is still crushing hits like that.

Staging to drive ~2.5 hours out of down and go diving. I'd get 4 full days of diving in and just barely get back in time to meet up with my wife in YYZ for a previously planned vacation. I'd spend as much time not diving as I would diving on the trip, which isn't a great ratio, but it may be all I can do given other constraints.

Thanks a lot....This one's kind of like a 'dress rehersal'....the real one's next week in New Hampshire. For what I'm doing right afterwards (hopefully to be joined by a few Boxers), read my post in the next few days.

I've got the Significant Otter interested in becoming PADI Certified. It would be nice if we could dive together. Dunno if certification for her will be feasible in the near future, given her soon-to-be :rolleyes: schedule.

Plus1 had a mechanical, but appears to be on his way now.

He's sitting next to a lady with a cat; which has always been my biggest nightmare (I'm highly allergic). I've never had it happen and guess I would have to ask to switch with someone. I once asked to switch seats (asked the FA) because the guy sitting next to me smelled like he had smoked a pack of cigarettes 2 seconds before boarding. They found me an employee that switched with me and I was very grateful.

I walked into a restroom at ATL the other day, someone has clearly been smoking in the bathroom. I wanted to say MEM is the middle/high school airport, can we act like adults here. :p

The cert process doesn't take too much time, especially with much of the coursework available online now. But it does take a couple days to go do the dives and prove that you didn't die underwater.

The fiancee just today said that she needs a hobby. When I suggested golf, she :rolleyes: at me, citing a lack of patience. I have next to no patience and I can manage my way thru 18 holes. I successfully taught her to manage a firearm, but she has said that she does not want to move past shooting a .22 pistol.

She used to paint and she also used to ride horses. Knowing that has me wondering if I can make a Christmas package out of either of those things. I was considering an iPod touch for her, but she puts MP3's on her BlackBerry.

If a guy can't get away from his wife underwater, where can he go? ;)

I'm impressed that you are thinking of Christmas presents this far in advance. Other than the Madea collection, I haven't thought of anything for Plus1 for Father's Day (though BL JR did come up with a couple of choice ideas).
