I think I'll still manage to enjoy the bottle of wine that came without a card. :D

How did you get an Executive level room using the free weekend promo? I thought you had to book a standard room...

That's what I thought, so I did a bit of research after having made the reservation. One of you Starwood experts can comment further, but I think the "Executive Deluxe" room is actually the base level room at that particular property:

In other news, I wish I could earn a living drinking rum on a beach. I am exceptional at it. I dare say I'm the Tiger Woods of that particular activity. Mount Gay and Appleton Estate should be beating down my door for endorsement contracts.

I wonder what the tournament to determine the best would look like. Sign me up, whatever it is. :D

^^

I'm on with CO now fixing my reward from last night to add on the final segment into YYZ that I need. I found availability via ATL, so a few new lines, too. :D

Never mind - I really am dumb.

Try Target. I spotted it there. And, it is on sale. Or, according to the Target flyer, Pepsi products are on sale.

I'll look for it and if I find it; pick some up for you.

We enjoyed the butler service at the St. Regis Shanghai. I did not, however, do the bath.

It's halfway over, but the Travel Channel has the Bourdain HKG episode on right now.

I thought every room at the St Regis included butler service ?

I had Jamaican for lunch.

I guess it's as close to being in a "jerk store" as I'll ever get.

One hot steaming plate of my trademark bitter sarcasm delivered fresh to your door in the missing kid thread.

You haven't been in an Apple Store recently? Sorry to hear that.

My desk chair decided to be , now I have a stool.

It appears that the "Executive Deluxe" room is just the name of the standard room at that particular property, so I really am getting just a standard room with my promo credits. According to the confirmation email, the room has "a king-sized bed luxuriously adorned with our signature linens and hand-painted Chinoiserie silk wallpaper. To complement, refined elements such as Jim Thompson silk throw pillows and inviting window seats upholstered with rich designer fabrics add to the artistic composition of the room. A regal writing desk with easy access to the Internet and WiFi allows you to take care of business and other affairs. Three phones are located throughout the room at the desk, bedside table and bathroom for your convenience.

You will be spoiled by the grand French marble bathroom featuring a unique free-standing bathtub as a glamorous centrepiece, separate jet massage shower, AD Norton TV innovatively installed as part of the mirror and double basins. And if you need anything else, please call upon our 24-hour signature St. Regis Butlers who will be delighted to extend their bespoke service to all guests."

I'm really looking forward to those Jim Thompson silk throw pillows.

Elsewhere, it's going to be around 100 degrees in Vegas this weekend. Guess I'm just going to have to bear it :).

It's been relative cool past few weeks. I kinda miss the 100 degree temps.

The Canuck went out and bought 4 stools for our kitchen. I told her before she committed to spending that much money, I was really disappointed she didn't provide me with a stool sample first.

It took her about 2 weeks to understand the joke. Yes, she's a natural blonde.
